Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Perhaps I'm feeling nostalgic tonight, but there's something I have to say.

When I wrote this story, I was very young, I had never written a proper novel-length text before, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my early teenage years. I was at an age where I was discovering myself not only as a writer, but as a person, and I think writing 'Leaps and Bounds' helped me with that - even if I never did learn to like that title! I've improved a lot since then, and I absolutely refuse to go back and read it for fear that I'll hate the thing that was once one of the most important features in my life.

That said, Leaps and Bounds helped me in a way no other piece I've written so far has. Through it, I met the most wonderful people, and I still treasure every review and every piece of fanart. I was in a world I had never known. People liked my writing, people were talking about my writing, people were drawing fanart and writing fanfics for my writing. And I'm immensely grateful to single one of those people for making a part of my life so, so special.

OOO I didn't know you have a DeviantArt! I didn't know you're also a talented artist! After reading all of your wonderful Pokemon fanfics, I really wanted to see how the author is doing! So I'm glad I found you

I just googled lilacbird out of pure boredom, hahaha. I have got to say, you have made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurt and cry so much that I had to get a box of tissues! XD I daydream about the Gold and Silver, Black and N, because you're just absolutely amazing at writing! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for writing! You mention that you might hate it if you go back and read your work, but you know what? If I were you and I wrote Leaps and Bounds, I would be super proud of it, because it accomplished in portraying Gold, Silver, and other characters' personalities perfectly, and moving readers with excitement to what's going to happen, and the relief of getting a happy ending :') ! Again, thank you for your work! I told my friend who also likes guyxguy fics and Pokemon, and she's reading L&B now! As a reader who is your fan, I hope you are doing well!
